QUEENS THEATRE, Hornchurch, have staged LADIES DAY as part of their Autumn season. The play opened on October 2nd and was directed by Matt Devitt. In August, this racing drama received its first French language production at Le Nouveau Theatre Urbaine in Quebec. The play was translated and directed by Jean-Guy Legault. It was also a BBC Radio Four Afternoon Play in July.

SARAH WATERS brilliant first novel TIPPING THE VELVET has been adapted for the stage by Amanda Whittington.

The music hall drama was showcased at the Bridewell Theatre, London, by Guildhall School of Music and Drama from October 19-22nd.

It was directed by Katharine Rogers, who Amanda has previously worked with on numerous stage and radio productions. Design was by Tom Rogers and lighting by Johanna Town.
